Taco Bowl With Meat, Cheese, Guacamole, & Sour Cream

Taco ‘Bout Bowls:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 small white or purple onion, diced

  • 1/2 pepper (your choice!), diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • 1/2 cup water or bone broth

  • 1/2 avocado, diced (or guacamole)

  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated

  • 1 spoonful sour cream or plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 small handful cilantro, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon cooking fat

Directions: In a large skillet, heat your cooking fat over medium-high. Add the chopped white or purple onion, pepper, and minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and the onion is translucent. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, lime juice, and water or bone broth. Mix thoroughly and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the liquid has thickened.

Spoon your desired amount of the meat mixture into a bowl and add the avocado, cheese, sour cream, and cilantro, and enjoy!
