Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp

Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp:

Ingredients:

  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 6 slices of bacon

  • Salt to taste

  • Toothpicks, for securing bacon

Directions: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the peeled and deveined shrimp with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Take a slice of bacon and cut it into two halves lengthwise, creating two thinner strips from each slice. Wrap each shrimp with one strip of bacon, securing the ends with a toothpick. Repeat for all the shrimp.

Place the bacon-wrapped shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack placed on a baking sheet for even cooking. Bake the shrimp in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the bacon becomes crispy and the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove the toothpicks before serving (because: ouch!) and enjoy!
