Grilled Sirloin Steak & Squash

Grilled Sirloin Steak With Squash And Zucchini

Grilled Sirloin Steak & Squash:

Ingredients:

  • 2 sirloin steaks (6-8 ounces each)

  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into rounds

  • 2 medium yellow squash, sliced into rounds

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced zucchini and yellow squash. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the garlic, thyme, salt and pepper, and olive oil.

Brush both sides of the sirloin steaks with a portion of the garlic and thyme marinade. Drizzle the remaining marinade over the sliced zucchini and squash. Toss to coat the vegetables evenly.

Place the seasoned steaks and the vegetables on the preheated grill. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust grilling time to your desired level of doneness). Grill the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly charred, turning them occasionally.

Once the steaks and vegetables are done, remove them from the grill. Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve the grilled sirloin steak slices alongside the grilled zucchini and squash and enjoy!
